from last year experience no need media pass .. just bawak beg sampai nampak mcm ninja turtle .. camera 2 bijik satu kat tangan, satu gantung kat leher .. turun jer masuk sampai tepi padang . cuma jgn masuk padang terus jer .. kang kena tackle ngan player, sendiri mau ingat la ..

PETALING JAYA, Aug 28 (Bernama) -- The COBRA Rugby club which introduced the prestigious 10s tournament to the world is hoping to see the best rugby playing nations competing in the tournament one day.

COBRA president Datuk Krishnan Tan said it was his dream to see the tournament attracting the best rugby playing nations in the world.

"The tournament, which is into its 37th edition, has been attracting some world-class players representing their clubs but it would be a major achievement to see the best rugby playing countries participating here in the near future," Krishnan said after receiving sponsorship pledges for the tournament here today.

The HSBC-COBRA Rugby 10s, which offers US$33,000 (RM125,000) in prize money, will see participation from 16 club teams from around the world, including clubs from world rugby powerhouses New Zealand, Australia and South Africa.

The three-day event (Sept 8-10) will be held at the Petaling Jaya City Council Stadium in Kelana Jaya.

Of the 16 teams, four are from Malaysia, and they will be divided into four groups.

Host COBRA are drawn in a group that includes last year's Bowl champion Oriental Rongotai of New Zealand.

The other local teams in the competition are NS Wanderers, Kedah Blues and Sandakan Eagles.

Apart from the main event, a schools rugby tournament comprising eight teams will also be held simultaneously.
