THE SOUTH EAST ASIAN CENTRAL BANKS (SEACEN)
RESEARCH AND TRAINING CENTRE
The South East Asian Central Banks (SEACEN) Research and Training Centre was established in 1982, comprising at present 16 member central banks in the Asia Pacific region. The SEACEN Centre plays a leading role in promoting greater understanding in financial, monetary, and banking matters in the region. With a well-defined clientele of member central banks and working closely with collaborating international financial institutions and training providers, the SEACEN Centre provides training on central banking functions of monetary policy, banking supervision, payment and settlement systems and central bank governance.
The SEACEN Centre invites applications from qualified and resourceful Malaysian citizens to fill the following vacancies.
MANAGER (G7), TRAINING
Responsibilities: Main responsibilities are to develop, design, implement and evaluate training, seminar and meeting events; and assists in formulating the Centre’s annual programme of training activities.
Requirements:
● Possess a Bachelor’s degree preferably in Economics/Law/Business/or the Social Sciences. Masters degree is an added advantage.
● Working experience in identifying training needs, and in designing, organising and coordinating training events.
● Excellent command of English (both written and spoken). Experience in editing manuscripts in English is an added advantage.
● Proficient in written and spoken Bahasa Malaysia.
● Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to deal with international training collaborators.
● A minimum working experience of five (5) years in the relevant field.
Benefits: Salary Scale: RM2,600 – RM4,800. Salaries will be pitched at his/her working experience, with attractive benefits package including medical benefits and merit payment.
MANAGER (G8), TRAINING
Responsibilities: Main responsibilities are to coordinate training events and assist the Senior Training Manager in planning, conducting and evaluating training activities.
Requirements:
● Possess a Bachelor’s degree in Economics/Finance/Law/Business or equivalent.
● Working experience (minimum 2 years) in coordinating training activities.
● Proficient in written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia.
● Good communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to coordinate and liaise with international collaborators.
● Proactive and results oriented.
Benefits: Salary Scale: RM1,800 – RM3,600. Successful candidate will be offered attractive benefits package including medical benefits and merit payment.
Both vacancies will be initially placed on a contractual basis and can be considered for a permanent position based on performance.
