Degree/Higher Diploma in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent.
At least 5 years experience in Data Centre Services/ Mainframe Hosting Environment.
Experience in OS/390 and Z/OS Operating Systems and related products such as SMPE, JES2, RMF, DFSMS, DFHSM and etc.
Experience in IOCP/IOCDS to install new hardware.
Broad knowledge of processes and tools for system management an capacity planning.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills; English essentials.
Strong analytical and problem solving skill.
Professional conduct and confident in daily work routines.
Worked with Process and Problem Management Systems.
Time Management Skills.
Ability to work independently with minimum supervision.
Work well under pressure.

Responsibilities:
Provide technical support for Mainframe systems at Bangi Data Center and Disaster Recovery Center.
Manage the installation and testing of new/upgraded software and hardware.
Evaluate and recommend new/upgraded software and hardware requirement.
Establish and maintain standard and procedures for users.
Provide advice for decision making that are related to mainframe computer system.
Perform migration from OS/390 to Z/OS.
Provide Data Center recovery planning.
Provide optimum availability and support by effective use of problem and change management.
Provide proactive application of system maintenance and product upgrades.
Proactive monitoring and alerting.
Liason with vendor.
