Malaysia ’s foremost endurance event is back! Edaran Endurance Classic 2006 will be held once again in Selangor from 5 -7 May.

RIDE THE CLASSIC AGAIN!
Malaysia ’s premier endurance event is back! The Edaran Endurance Classic enters its fourth year and promises to be even more exciting after succeeding in attracting the interest and participation of international riders in its 2005 event.
The event organized by Edaran Digital Systems Berhad has continued to gain recognition among endurance circles worldwide eversince it was inaugurated in 2003. In 2005, the Event was graced by World Endurance Championship’s Gold Medalist HH Sheikh Hazza bin Sultan Al-Nahyan and his brother HH Sheikh Khaled Sultan. Heading the distinguished list of local participants was His Royal Highness DYMM Sultan Mizan Zainal Abidin, the Sultan of Terengganu.
Edaran Endurance Classic 2006 will be held at the tranquil grounds of ar-Raudhah Equine Centre, 40 minutes drive from Kuala Lumpur , Selangor, from 5-7 May.
The main Ride Category will be the FEI-CEI 3 Star 120Km Ride, in keeping with the standard of the World Endurance Championship. Open once again to international participants, this Ride Category anticipates keen participation of local Malaysian riders as well as international riders set on training and building up their endurance skills for the World Endurance Championship 2008 which will be held for the first time in Malaysia , in the east coast state of Terengganu.
A second Ride Category is the 80km Ride for serious, committed endurance riders training for longer distances; while a third category yet, is the 40km Ride a shorter training ride for newly initiated endurance riders.
In its continuing efforts to promote the sport of endurance riding among the younger generation, the Edaran Endurance Classic 2006 will also feature a Young Riders Category – a guided ride over a distance of 15km.
The grand opening of the Edaran Endurance Classic which will be followed by the Flag-off of the FEI-CEI 3 Star 120KM Ride is scheduled for 6 May at ar-Raudhah Equine Centre.
