The South East Asian Central Banks (SEACEN) Research and Training Centre invites applications from qualified and resourceful Malaysian citizens to fill the following vacancy:-
ECONOMIST
Requirements:
· Possess at least a Bachelor degree in economics/statistics with good basic knowledge in macroeconomics, monetary economics, banking or international finance.
· Excellent command of English (both written and spoken). Experience in editing economics research is added advantage.
· Proficiency in the use of PC-based econometric application software programs preferably SAS.
· Working experience in a research environment, familiarity with macroeconomic data analysis, and economic knowledge of other Asian economies are added advantage.
Salary Range: RM1,800 – RM3,200
